THERE IS NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE. The Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst is requesting information pertaining to the procurement and packaging of the A/S32A-45 Mid Range Tow Tractor Primary Throttle Return Spring Upgrade Assembly. The government intends to procure approximately 1500 assemblies. The Throttle Return Spring Upgrade Assembly is made up of individual components and quantities per assembly as listed below: These components cannot be substituted: 1. Quantity (1), Throttle return spring, P/N: AC105-1000-15.800-SST-5.250-CG-N-IN, Source: Compression Spring by Axena, CAGE: 74439, drawing attached for reference, note tolerance on spring free length. 2. Quantity (1), Bracket, Primary Throttle Return Spring, P/N: 4291AS0100, Manufactured to drawing, drawing attached for reference. 3. Quantity (1), Spring Retention Cup, P/N: 9275K163, Source: McMaster-Carr, CAGE: 2V507. The following additional components which complete the assembly can be substituted for like components from another source of supply if desired. 4. Quantity (1), Spring Cup Retainer Screw, P/N: 0146694, Source: Fastenal, CAGE: 0Y3H3, basic description: #10-32 x 1/2" Phillips Drive 100° Flat Head Zinc Finish Steel Machine Screw. 5. Quantity (1), Low Profile Spring Cup Retainer Nut, P/N: 37120, Source: Fastenal, CAGE: 0Y3H3, basic description: 1/4"-28 Grade 2 Zinc Finish NTE Steel Jam Nylon Insert Lock Nut. 6. Quantity (2), Bracket Retainer Screw, P/N: 29083, Source: Fastenal, CAGE: 0Y3H3, basic description: #10-32 x 1-1/2" Phillips Drive Pan Head Zinc Finish Steel Machine Screw. 7. Quantity (2), Bracket Retainer Nut, P/N: 37015, Source: Fastenal, CAGE: 0Y3H3, basic description: #10-32 Grade 2 Zinc Finish NM Steel Nylon Insert Lock Nut. 8. Quantity (2), Pedal Lock Nut, P/N: 37260, Source: Fastenal, CAGE: 0Y3H3, basic description: 1/4"-20 Grade C Zinc Finish Steel Top Lock Nut. Marking: The individual components for each assembly should be individually bagged and marked with quantity and part number. Each A/S32A-45 Mid Range Tow Tractor Primary Throttle Return Spring Upgrade Assembly is to be individually packed in their own shipping package and marked as 1 each A/S32A-45 MRTT Primary Throttle Return Spring Upgrade Assembly, KIN # 6306LKA147855SX in accordance with MIL-STD-129. Packing: The contractor shall preserve each Assembly in accordance with the MIL-STD-2073-1, “Standard Practice for Military Packaging”, Packaging Requirements Code = "B". It is the Government’s intent to procure approximately 1500 assemblies. Delivery of all assemblies is expected to be complete within 90 to 120 days from contract award. Partial deliveries can be made over time with all assemblies arriving at the below address within the 90-120 time period. Individually packaged assemblies can be packaged together and shipped to the following address. Navair Central Kitting Activity Mark for: KIN -#6306LKA147855SX Sabrina Pate 235 Industrial Loop, Suite 182 Orange Park, FL 32073-2831 904-278-0400 The delivery of the assemblies to the NAVAIR Central Kitting Facility can be packed in accordance with ASTM D3951, “Standard Practice for Commercial Packaging”, The purpose of the request for information is to identify potential contractors capable of supplying the Throttle Return Spring Upgrade Assembly. Along with the interest and information on the above, it is requested that estimated price information is provided. Price should account for Assemblies (with FOB origin) and also a separate price to ship individual assemblies to the above address. The Government will not release any information marked with a Proprietary legend, received in response to this RFI, to any firms, agencies, or individuals outside the Government without written permission in accordance with the legend.
