Steel Extrusion THIS RFI IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool being used to determine potential and eligible vendors capable of providing the overall product described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Navy is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division has a need for extruded SST ASTM A564 Type XM-25 Extruded Tracks. The overall dimensions are 125mm X 140mm, the length may be up to 6,000mm. A rough drawing will be supplied to qualified vendors that have an up-to-date DD Form 2345. Inquiries should include a current copy of their Military Critical Technical Data Agreement. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this request for information in writing that contains information that may be used by the Government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
