THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The following information is provided to assist the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL), NJ in conducting market research of industry to identify qualified contractors to meet a potential requirement for Organizational (O) Level Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) on an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity Contract for the PMA-261 H53K Program. Interested contractors should have working knowledge of the CH53K aircraft systems and Support Equipment and the engineering and Technical skills relevant to understanding Government-owned specifications. NAWCAD is seeking information regarding how an interested contractor could produce and deliver the support equipment in the attached document. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and is issued in conformance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1; it does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB), a Request for Proposal (RFP), or a Request for Quote (RFQ). This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The Government WILL NOT PAY for any information received in response to this RFI, and the Government will not compensate the respondent for any cost incurred in developing the response to this RFI. Respondents are notified that a formal solicitation may not necessarily result from this RFI. Availability of any formal solicitation may be announced under a separate Federal Business Opportunities announcement. Any requests for copies of the solicitation will be not addressed since this is an RFI, not an RFP. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP. Any comments provided may or may not be included in a formal solicitation. The Government will not release any information received in response to this RFI that is marked with a proprietary legend to any firms, agencies, or individuals outside the Government without written permission in accordance with the legend. Please be advised that all submissions will become Government property and will not be returned. All interested parties should send company and descriptive literature on currently available products and/or services that meet the Navy's requirements as described above. With the response, include a point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, website information, DUNS Number, SAM Entity ID Number, CAGE Code, and Business Size Status for the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of this RFI. Any responses in reference to this RFI shall be submitted electronically to Contract Specialist, Molly Jackson, at molly.s.jackson.civ@us.navy.mil with the subject line "O-Level Support Equipment H-53K". All responses should be received no later than 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, 19 September 2022. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. Sources choosing to respond to this notice are wholly responsible for any costs/expenses associated with submitting a response. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this notice. The information obtained from submitted responses may be used in development of an acquisition strategy and a future solicitation. Submissions will not be returned.
