NAWCAD, Lakehurst, NJ, intends to issue a contract on a limited competition basis between The Boeing Company and their authorized manufacturers. The Boeing Company is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the above equipment and own all the proprietary data to the engineering data and detailed product drawings to provide the same form, fit, and function that is compatible with the existing configurations. The Boeing Company and their authorized manufacturers are the only vendors capable of meeting the Government requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Information received as a result this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to full and open competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses should reference N6833522R0295, and shall be submitted electronically to the Contract Specialist, Cheryl Abele, at cheryl.a.abele.civ@us.navy.mil with the subject line “Boeing Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE)”. All responses should be received no later than 4:00 PM Eastern, 15 September 2022.
