The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a fixed -price purchase order, on a sole source basis to Coherent Technical Services, Inc., located in Lexington Park, MD, for software maintenance, technical support, and software upgrade for the Ship Integration Multi-Touch System (SIMS). Coherent Technical Services, Inc. is the original designer of the SIMS, and integrator of the multi-touch hardware suite, database, and IT infrastructure that hosts it. The SIMS was designed and built to leverage commercial off the shelf (COTS) hardware, with a custom built software package. As such, Coherent Technical Services is the only company that has the authority to provide maintenance releases for this software. The Government does not own the data rights and a competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. This notification is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) is requesting information from industry, cognizant of DFARS 205.205-71, in order to identify qualified business vendors able to supply High-power electrical isolation cabinets. QTY 1 Enclosure containing 8x 6-pole double throw (6PDT switches), and QTY 2 enclosures containing 1x 3PDT switch, IAW the attached Statement of Work. Respondents to this RFI should provide the following: Technical and experience information on their ability to provide that meets the parts list above, along with a proof of distributorship Identification of business size, specifically small business size status Rough order of magnitude pricing information In addition, all vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. It is mandatory to register with the SAM as your DUNs Number (Data Universal Numbering System) and your cage code (Commercial and Government Entity) code will be required to conduct business with the Department of Defense.
