The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Lakehurst, NJ has a requirement to procure Duplex Corrosion Resistant Steel Raw material in support of CVN74 Catapult Trough Components and CVN75 Catapult Trough Components, through a Firm Fixed Price contract, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The resultant contract will have a one year base period of performance, with four additional option years – for a total of a five year period of performance. The Government intends to procure the above items through a full and open competition. (i) THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation number is N68335-22-R-0129 (iii) The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. (iv) This solicitation is open to all businesses. NAICS is 331529. FSC code is 9530 (v) FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items, is incorporated. All proposals shall meet all requirements as outlined in the SOW and Evaluation Plan, and include all certifications requested. Cost proposals should be submitted using the attached CLIN structure form. Please review updates and make any necessary proposal revisions before resubmitting. The end date has been extended to 30 March 2022.
