The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations to establish a five-year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with The Boeing Company, located in Saint Louis, MO, for the teardown, maintenance, repair and proof load testing of the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G Aircraft Sling, P/N 74D110501-1001, in support of the F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G aircrafts. The Boeing Company is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Aircraft Sling, P/N 74D110501-1001, and only The Boeing Company has the data rights and proprietary information needed to teardown, proof load test, provide maintenance services, and repair the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G Aircraft Sling. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst NJ (NAWCADLKE) is requesting information from industry, cognizant of DFARS 205.205-71, in order to identify qualified vendors able to supply, MEGOHMMETERS P/N:210400 and Megohmmeters P/N: 6550 for the P-8A aircraft. THE MEGOHMMETER IS USED TO CHECK RESISTANCE OF THE SPEED PICKUP OF TURBOFAN ENGINE Respondents to this RFI should provide the following: - Technical and experience information on their ability to provide that meets the parts list above along with a proof of distributorship - Identification of business size, specifically, small business size status ( i.e. Small Business, Hubzone, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc.) -Rough Order of Magnitude pricing information. In addition, all vendors must be registered in Systems for award Management (SAM Database. The internet website is hhtps://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. It is mandatory to register with the SAM as your DUNs Number (Data Universal Numbering System) and you’re CAGE CODE (Commercial and Government Entity) code will be required to conduct business with the Department of Defense. In addition, all invoices will be electronically submitted in the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF); information will be available in subsequent order.
