The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a A limited competition Support Equipment acquisition to authorized distributors Orkal Aerospace (Cage Code: 4M1Q2) and Incora Wesco A/C Hardware (Cage Code: 1V757) of a qnt of two (2) each for the following item: DAT TOOL KIT (PN: DAT02AEFKT4024) which is used to fulfill Organizational Level requirement on the CH-53K to install PERMASWAGE fittings on various hydraulic lines in the aircraft (sizes: 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2"). The Government does not have data or drawing rights to enable full and open competition which are currently held by the OEM. This piece of Support Equipment is only used on the CH-53K series helicopters, no other aircraft in the U.S. inventory utilizes this piece at this time. The OEM has indicated that only their authorized distributors: Orkal Aerospace (Cage Code: 4M1Q2) and Incora Wesco A/C Hardware (Cage Code: 1V757) can be used to procure this item, DAT TOOL KIT (PN: DAT02AEFKT4024).. However, all responses received within fifteem days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
