The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order on a competitive basis for a Small Business Set Aside (SBSA) for the procurement of Trailers, Engine Transportation (Part Number (P/N) 1480AS100-1, National Stock Number (NSN) 1740-01-278-3576) in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) program (FMS Case Number JA-P-SCL) and FMS India MH-60R program (FMS Case Number IN-P-SAY). The JASDF and India MH-60R requires the Trailer, Engine Transportation to prevent damage during movement between aircraft and maintenance areas. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at https://sam.gov. Interested vendors should submit their capability statements and any other pertintent information to kelli.l.ryan3.civ@us.navy.mil by the close date of this pre-solicitation notice for review. Content should be limited to five (5) pages. The intention is to competitively award this requirement via SBSA, resulting in a Firm Fixed Price award. The Government will release the solicitation, including any subsequent amendments, on the SAM.gov website. No telephone or written requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Amendments to the solicitation, if issued, will be posted to the same website. After solicitation release, vendors should regularly access the website to ensure they have all the amendments.
