The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Derco, A Lockheed Martin company for the procurement of two hundred and five (205) Peculiar Support Equipment end items to perform maintenance tasks on the KC-130J/KC130J Aircraft. NAWCAD intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Derco, A Lockheed Martin company. GENERAL INFORMATION: There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. There is no solicitation package available. This Sources Sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 206.302-1(d). The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst intends to negotiate on a non- competitive basis with Derco, A Lockheed Martin Company for the procurement of two hundred and five (205) Peculiar Support Equipment end items to perform maintenance tasks on the KC-130J/KC130J aircraft. This RFI is issued solely for the information and planning purposes and is issued in conformance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1; it does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB), a Request for Proposal (RFP), or a Request for Quote (RFQ). This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The Government WILL NOT PAY for any information received in response to this RFI, and the Government will not compensate the respondent for any cost incurred in developing the response to this RFI. Respondents are notified that a formal solicitation may not necessarily result from this RFI. Availability of any formal solicitation may be announced under a separate beta.sam announcement. Any requests for copies of solicitations will not be addressed since this is an RFI, not an RFP. Not responsing to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP.
