The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a fixed-price purchase order, on a sole source basis to Phillis Corp., Federal Division, located in Hanover, MD (CAGE: 3MPQO) for Preventative Maintenance (PM) services and parts for the EOS M290 Laser Powder Bed Fusion Additive Manufacturing (AM) System. The requirement includes biannual PM on site at NAWC-AD Lakehurst. The contract also includes all consumable parts, spare parts, maintenance parts, wearing parts, laser parts, and telephonic support from a technical support center. The contract includes options for metal powder. These services will be in support of the Advanced Manufacturing and Prototype Engineering Branch and the AM Integrated Product Team at NAWC-AD Lakehurst, NJ. Phillips Corp., Federal Division, is the sole and exclusive distributor of EOS of North America equipment, consumables, and any associated factory certified service to United States Government facilities. This includes any and all service related contracts or maintenance agreements on EOS equipment. The Government does not own the data rights and a competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. This notification is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
