SYNOPSIS F/A-18EF PECULIAR SUPPORT EQUIPMENT ELECTRO-HYDRAULIC VALVE TEST STAND (EHVTS) The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue an award on a Sole Source basis with The Boeing Company for the procurement, delivery, and support of the P/N: 74D140516-1003 EHVTS. This item is required to support testing of the various Direct Drive Valve (DDV) and Electrohydraulic Valve (EHV) subassemblies on the aircraft’s Aileron, Trailing Edge Flap, Leading Edge Flap, Rudder, Stabilator, and Nose Wheel Steering Power Unit Servocylinder and Servovalve Assemblies. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT POSSESS THE TECHNICAL DATA TO ALLOW FOR A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT. All responsible sources may submit a response which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
