SYNOPSIS MSU-299E TJS Pod Stand The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit and issue a 100% Small Business Set-Aside for the manufacture, assembly, and delivery of the MSU-299/E TJS POD STAND, AIRCRAFT, P/N:802011337880-1, NSN:4920-01-557-4986. There will be a Maximum quantity of thirty (30) and a Minimum quantity of 5. This will be a five year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Type Contract. The POD Stand is a metal framework mounted on casters used to suspend the ALQ-99 TJS POD at a height sufficient to aid the fleet technician in the performance of maintenance on the POD. Up to three PODs can be suspended at one time using the POD Stand. NOTE: This procurement is a 100% set aside for small business certified companies. This procurement contains Technical Data subject to the Export Control Laws. Access to unclassified technical Data in control of the DoD that is desired to be provided to DoD contractors is controlled by the U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office (JCO). The JCO, a common, jointly staffed office, is located at the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS), 74 Washington Avenue North, Battle Creek, Michigan 49017-3084. The JCO receives and processes certification forms submitted by U.S. and Canadian contractors that wish to obtain access to unclassified technical data disclosing critical technology under the control of, or in the possession of DoD or DND. A signed and approved DD2345 certification form will need to submitted by any potential small business offeror prior to receiving of any drawings. For DD Form 2345 information, visit the DLIS website at http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp. The drawing package will not be available until after the solicitation is posted on the UNISON Portal. Once the solicitation is posted you may contact Desiree Pendleton at desiree.i.pendleton.civ@us.navy.mil to request a copy of the Drawing Package. Please make sure to include with your request a certified copy of the DD Form 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement. All responsible sources may submit a response which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.
