The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, on a sole-source basis to Trioptics USA (77H85) for the procurement of two each DO-660-0360, Reference Mirrors, with NIST Traceable Calibration Certificate and storage case; eight each DO-D617-2Q2S, 2 Inch Optical Flats with NIST Traceable Calibration Certificate and storage case; two each DO-D617-3Q2S1, 3 Inch Optical Flats with NIST Traceable Calibration Certificate and storage case for FMS Bahrain AH-1Z. Trioptics USA is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for part numbers: DO-660-0360, DO-D671-2Q2S, and DO-D617-3Q2S1. Manufacturing, warranty, guarantee and calibration of the three items is available only directly from the OEM. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
