Additionally, Amendment 0001 has been posted which includes a change in the required delivery. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to procure the HDU-43 P/N 2212, NIIN 58-000-0441 Aircraft Heater. The heater will provide the necessary heating capacity, airflow and static pressure to meet current aircraft maintenance requirements. It will also provide forced fresh ventilation without heat for ventilation of fuel tanks and other confined spaces. The heater supports all Navy/Marine Corps aircraft and other facilities during cold weather operation. NAWCADLKE intends to award this contract under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. Solicitation N68335-21-Q-0153 is being issued as a limited request for quote (RFQ) as NAWCADLKE intends to acquire the HDU-43 P/N 2212 on a part number basis from Polartherm Oy or an authorized distributor. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed-Price contract for a quantity of thirty (30) units. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quotation is lowest in price and in full compliance with all requirements set forth in this solicitation. Delivery shall commence within 10 months after contract award. The contractor will be required to deliver four (4) HDU-43 heaters per month. The solicitation is now posted on Beta.SAM and closes on 07 June 2021. Any amendments will be posted on Beta.SAM.gov under N68335-21-Q-0153. Hard copies of the solicitation and amendments will NOT be mailed to the contractors. The Government will only accept electronic proposals.
