This presolicitation/synopsis notice is published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions and FAR 5.204 requiring dissemination of information for presolicitation notices. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to procure (1) Puller Assembly (Part Number: 64E33087-1, NSN: 4910-00-463-7383) for the Kuwait F/A-18 E-F Super Hornet Program. The Puller Assembly contains a heating element and provides 5000 PSI force to remove/replace the in/outboard bearing cups in nose landing gear (NLG)/main landing gear (MLG) wheel. The NAICS code is 334419. This procurement is a small business set-aside. The Government does not have the data rights for this effort. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
