The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, on a sole-source basis to The King Nutronics Corp. (Cage 13859) for the procurement of Tire Inflator Test set, part number 3665-1-1. The 3665-1-1 is the required Calibration Standard (CALSTD) for support equipment (SE) such as tire pressure gages and aircraft tire monitors for the AH-1Z Viper platform. King Nutronics Corp. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer, owns the data rights, and is the only known source for the 3665-1-1 and provides the guaranty, warranty, and calibration required. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
