The Naval Air Warfare Center – Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Ultra ICE in Manhattan, Kansas, for Fuel Quantity Test Sets Equipment repair. This service is required to support the Fleet Readiness Center Aviation Support Equipment program. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” The Government does not own the data rights and a competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
