The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Habco Industries, Inc on a sole-source basis. The IDIQ will be for the following part numbers: 70700-77348-041 Installation Tool; 70700-77443-041 Pole Assembly, Manual Pylon Fold; 70700-77520-041 Sling, Tail Pylon; 70700-77544-041 Strut, Pylon Fold; 71700-77551-041 Test Box, Active Vibration Control System; AV15-1607 Check Fixture; 65700-15000-043 REAMER KIT. The proposed contract action is for a requirement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response this notice. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
