The purpose of this notice is to inform that the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) on a non-competitive basis with the Canadian Commercial Corporation, 50 O’Connor Street, Suite 1100, Ottawa, Ontario K1A-0S6 (with 100% subcontracting to Curtiss-Wright Indal Technologies, Inc., 3570 Hawkestone Road, Mississauga, Ontario LSC 2V8). This BOA will allow for the procurement of system repairs/refurbishment, system upgrades, system upgrade kits, change kits, training, installation and checkout (INCO) spares, technical data and studies for the Recovery Assist, Secure Traverse (RAST) System, Aircraft Ship Integrated Secure and Traverse (ASIST) System, and Lateral Transfer System (LTS). Curtiss-Wright Indal Technologies, Inc. has designed and developed the RAST, ASIST and LTS Systems and is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that contains information that may be used by the Government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
