SYNOPSIS F/A-18EF PECULIAR SUPPORT EQUIPMENT The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue an award on a Sole Source basis with The Boeing Company for a quantity of seven (7) IWP TEF Hinge Replacement Maintenance Kit, P/N:74D900540-1001; a quantity of four (4) IWP Removal and Installation Adapter, LH P/N: 74D900505-1001; a quantity of four (4) IWP Removal And Installation Adapter, RH P/N: 74D900505-1002; and a quantity of six (6) IWP Sling Assembly P/N: 74D905017-1001 in support of the F/A-18EF and EA-18G Aircraft Depot Level of maintenance and replacement of the Inner Wing Panel Trailing Edge Flap Inboard and Outboard Hinges. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT POSSESS THE TECHNICAL DATA TO ALLOW FOR A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT. All responsible sources may submit a response which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
