The procurement will include contractor support services through the design, development, test and integration of the following Gearbox Test Stands for the CH-53K Aircraft: Main-Rotor Gearbox Test Stand, Tail-Rotor/Intermediate Gearbox Test Stand and the nose Gearbox Test Stand. The anticipated award will be made to Sikorsky, A Lockheed Martin Company (cage: 78286) located at 6900 Main Street Stratford, CT 06614. This acquisition is being pursued under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government does not own current data, technology, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
