SYNOPSIS F/A-18EF PECULIAR SUPPORT EQUIPMENT (Vertical Tail Fixtures) The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue an award on a Sole Source basis to The Boeing Company for the procurement of Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) required to support F/A-18 EFG Aircraft Depot level (D-Level) of maintenance and repair of the Vertical Stabilator. Specifically, this acquisition is for the procurement, production, and delivery of PSE items seen below in List 1; as well as the design, development, fabrication and delivery of items seen below in List 2 in support of the F/A-18 EFG Aircraft Depot level (D-Level) of maintenance and repair of the Vertical Stabilator. The below listed tooling is used to remove, repair and replace multiple components on the F/A-18EF and EA-18G Aircraft. List 1 -P/N: AFT74-870064-5101, Vertical Tail Antenna Installation Drill Fixture, LH – Qty 6 -P/N: AFT74-870064-5103, Vertical Tail Antenna Installation Drill Fixture, RH – Qty 6 -P/N: RE174000110-1, Vertical Stabilator Hoist Adapter – Qty 6 -P/N: RE274230300-1, Plate Set, Vertical Stab Trailing and Leading Edge – Qty 6 List 2 -P/N: 74D110652-1001, Sleeve Bolt Removal Tool – Qty 7 -P/N: 74D110655-1001, Sleeve Bolt Drill Kit – Qty 7 THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT POSSESS THE TECHNICAL DATA TO ALLOW FOR A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT. All responsible sources may submit a response which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.
