The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a non-competitive basis with Hydraulics International, Inc. (HII), Chatsworth CA for the manufacture, assembly, test and delivery of the Small Corrosion Control Cart (SCCC), HII Model A/M32M-40, P/N 051497-100, for the V-22 Joint Program, Presidential Helicopters Program, Common Aviation Support Equipment Program, and F/A-18S Aircraft Program. This SCCC is an ashore and afloat, trailer mounted, self-contained mobile unit that has been tested and Government approved for use in the harshest environments. A five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm-fixed priced contract is anticipated with a maximum ordering quantity of fifty (50). Foreign military sales are anticipated to be included in this quantity. Delivery will be f.o.b. destination for the domestic unit(s) and f.o.b. origin for FMS unit(s), if ordered. The Government intends to procure this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Section 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a response which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
