NAWCAD Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) Air Traffic Control & Landing Systems (ATC&LS) Division, has been tasked to procure AN/SPN-46(V) Automatic Carrier Landing System (ACLS) hardware components, through a 36 month Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Delivery Order (DO) with a base period of 12 months and 12 month option periods, under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N68335-19-G-0013 with Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), 444 Salomon Circle, Sparks, NV 89434, CAGE 8X691. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the AN/SPN-46(V) components, SNC is the only source with the requisite knowledge, technical experience, and production-level data to produce the AN/SPN-46(V) components without extensive and costly reverse engineering efforts. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
