The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source, fixed price contract for the procurement of quantity four (4) Side Platforms R/H, P/N RA-S92MD-TBD-0... The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source, fixed price contract for the procurement of quantity four (4) Side Platforms R/H, P/N RA-S92MD-TBD-0,four (4) Side Platforms L/H, P/N RA-S92MD-1586-0 and two (2) Nose Platforms, P/N RA-S92MD-1798-0 in support of VH-92A Presidential Helicopter Program. The anticipated award will be made to RA Norway located in Stavanger, Norway. RA Norway is the only company capable of providing the S-92 Maintenance Platforms as they hold the proprietary rights to the drawings, specifications, and data necessary to provide the required support equipment. The VH-92A is the Government model designation of the S-92 commercial helicopter. NAWCAD intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
