THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is seeking additional sources for tubing in accordance with SAE AS81914 Tubing, Plastic, Flexible, Convoluted, Conduit, and associated specification sheets for listing on Qualified Products List QPL-AS81914. SAE AS81914A may be obtained by going to the SAE website: https://www.sae.org. This document covers general requirements for tubing to be used in electrical interconnect systems for the protection and routing of wire bundle installations. Specific tubing types are listed on the 11 specification sheets, which can be viewed on the SAE website. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. With respect to products requiring qualification, awards will be made only for products that are, at the time of award of contract, qualified for inclusion in QPL-AS81914 whether or not such products have actually been so listed by that date. Contractors should be aware of requirements specified in SAE AS81914A. Manufacturers should arrange to have the products that they propose to offer to the Federal Government tested for qualification in order that they may be eligible to be awarded contracts or orders for the products covered by SAE AS81914A. Guidance for manufacturers and their authorized distributors who wish to submit products for NAWCAD qualification is available from the SD-6 Provisions Governing Qualification.
