THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is seeking additional sources for these bearings in accordance with SAE-AS81819A - Bearings, Plain, Self-Aligning, Self-Lubricating, High Speed Oscillation for listing on Qualified Products List (QPL) AS81819. SAE-AS81819A is available at SAE International, https://sae.org/. These bearings are for use at ambient temperature ranges of -65 to +160 degrees F (-54 to +71 degrees C) at high cyclic speed. SAE-AS81819 also provides a liner qualification procedure for helicopter sliding bearings. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. With respect to products requiring qualification, awards will be made only for products that are, at the time of award of contract, qualified for inclusion in QPL-AS81819 whether or not such products have actually been so listed by that date. Contractors should be aware of requirements specified in SAE-AS81819A. Manufacturers should arrange to have the products that they propose to offer to the Federal Government tested for qualification in order that they may be eligible to be awarded contracts or orders for the products covered by SAE-AS81819A. Guidance for manufacturers and their authorized distributors who wish to submit products for NAWCAD qualification is available from the Provisions Governing Qualification (SD-6).
