THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is seeking additional sources for check valves in accordance with MIL-V-5524B, Valve, Check, Hydraulic, Aircraft, Type I Systems, for listing on Qualified Products List (QPL) 5524. MIL-V-5524B is available at ASSIST https://quicksearch.dla.mil/ and may be obtained by using the "Document Number" search box and entering 5524. The check valves covered by this specification are intended for use in aircraft hydraulic systems conforming to MIL-H-5440, at operating pressures that do not exceed the values specified in MIL-V-5524B, with hydraulic fluid conforming to MIL-O-5606. The function of the check valve is to allow free flow in one direction only, and prevent flow in the opposite direction. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. With respect to products requiring qualification, awards will be made only for products that are, at the time of award of contract, qualified for inclusion in QPL-5524 whether or not such products have actually been so listed by that date. Contractors should be aware of requirements specified in MIL-V-5524B. Manufacturers should arrange to have the products that they propose to offer to the Federal Government tested for qualification in order that they may be eligible to be awarded contracts or orders for the products covered by MIL-V-5524B. Guidance for manufacturers and their authorized distributors who wish to submit products for NAWCAD qualification is available from the Provisions Governing Qualification (SD-6).
