THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is seeking additional sources for these cleaners in accordance with MIL-PRF-32597 Cleaner, Polymer and Polymer Matrix Composite (PMC) Material, Non-Aqueous, HAP-Free, for listing on Qualified Products List, QPL-32597. MIL-PRF-32597 is available at ASSIST https://quicksearch.dla.mil/ and may be obtained by using the "Document Number" search box and entering 32597. This specification covers a non-aqueous cleaner that is free of hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) and available in a low (no more than 25 grams per liter) volatile organic compound (VOC) and high VOC type for cleaning aircraft components (including structural metallic and fiber reinforced polymer matrix composite parts), ground support equipment, and other general cleaning applications. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. With respect to products requiring qualification, awards will be made only for products that are, at the time of award of contract, qualified for inclusion in QPL-32597 whether or not such products have actually been so listed by that date. Contractors should be aware of requirements specified in MIL-PRF-32597. Manufacturers should arrange to have the products that they propose to offer to the Federal Government tested for qualification in order that they may be eligible to be awarded contracts or orders for the products covered by MIL-PRF-32597. Guidance for manufacturers and their authorized distributors who wish to submit products for NAWCAD qualification is available from the Provisions Governing Qualification (SD-6).
