The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst has a requirement for a total quantity of eight (8) BRU-32 AUX BREECH ADAPTER ASSY, W49, NSN 4920-01-370-8704, P/N 984A-14RA. The BRU-32 Aux Breech Adapter Assembly, W49 is required at the O-level and adapts the ANAWM54 extension cable W49 to BRU32A/14/30 rack to allow for firing circuit test at the weapons stations. This requirement is in support of PMA-265 and the Foreign Military Sales Kuwait F/A-18 E-F Super Hornet Program. The Government intends to issue a contract action on a sole source basis to Williams RDM, Inc. (CAGE: 27899) of Fort Worth, TX for the required support equipment. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Williams RDM, Inc. has proprietary rights to the technical data and drawings and is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer. The Government does not possess the data rights for this support equipment and cannot evaluate other competitors. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to full and open competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
