SYNOPSIS Rotation Direction Indicator The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue an award on a Sole Source basis with Rolls Royce Bristol United Kingdom (Cage K0378) for the acquisition of a F405 Rotation Direction Indicator Test Set, Part Number UT1139-1, NICN LL-ERG-8864.The contractor shall manufacture and deliver the Rotation Direction Indicator Test Set and provide a Support Equipment Technical Manual. The contractor shall manufacture and deliver one unit for Government First Article Testing (FAT). After which, will be the manufacture and delivery of five (5) Production Units. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT POSSESS THE TECHNICAL DATA TO ALLOW FOR A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT. All responsible sources may submit a response which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.
