The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, on a sole-source basis to Fluke Electronics Corporation (CAGE 4U744) for the procurement of part number (P/N) 5727A, Amplifier, and P/N 96040A/75, RF Reference, as required by the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) in support of the F-15 Modernization Program for Saudi Arabia calibration of the Joint Common Test Set (JCTS). Fluke Electronics is the original equipment manufacturer of the P/Ns described above, owns the data rights, and is the only known source to guarantee the equipment meets the original performance characterisitics, design features, and operational instructions as required in the RSAF JCTS calibration procedure for new equipment only. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
