The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD), Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract to Ultrax Aerosapce (CAGE 07PR7), for the procurement of two (2) each of Part Number 02-1103-01, Ux Validator to support the H-60 Spain and Israel FMS countries. P/N 02-1103-01 has been designated with and AMC 3 and AMSC H which requires the Government to acquire for the second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacture because the Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate, or legible data to purchase this part from other than the current source. NAWC-AD intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
