The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ has a requirement for the overhaul, update and modification of five (5) T-6 Nose Wheel Steering (NWS) Actuators (Part Number (P/N) HP1460200-5) to bring them to a fully operational state and compliant with the current configuration (P/N HP1460200-7) as detailed in the attached DRAFT SOW in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Greece. The Government intends to compete this requirement as a full and open competition. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310 and the Size Standard in millions of dollars is $8.0. RELEASE OF DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK: The draft statement of work associated with the solicitation has been posted as an attachment to this pre-solicitation notice. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: All potential businesses must obtain a DUNS number, a CAGE code, and register in the System for Award Management (SAM) located at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number, a CAGE code and register in the SAM may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror. THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis.
