The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst is issuing a Request for Proposal on a Limited Sources basis with Huck International, Inc. (DBA Arconic Fastening Systems) and its Authorized Master Distributors for the purchase of Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and Line Item/CLIN Structure. Inspection and Acceptance is to be Origin with delivery FOB Destination. Please propose Shipping Costs in your Offer. Delivery/Ship To Address in in accordance with the Statement of Work. Quote must be valid for a minimum of 60 calendar days after close of solicitation. All changes to the solicitation will be posted to beta.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of vendors to monitor beta.sam.gov for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. NO hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. It is the responsibility of the vendor to submit quotes electronically via email to desiree.pendleton@navy.mil by the closing date of 03 January 2020 12:00pm (EST) or as otherwise displayed at beta.sam.gov.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to issue an award on a Limited Sources basis with Huck International, Inc. (DBA Arconic Fastening Systems) and its authorized Master Distributors for the purchase of the following Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE): Qty 14, P/N: TA7533 Handle Assembly Qty 14, P/N: HN7513 -12, -10, -8, and -6 Anvil Qty 14, P/N: HP7523 -12C, -10, -8, and -6 Puller Qty 14, P/N: FNR7505 -12, -10, -8, and -6 Removal Adapter The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. Huck International, Inc. is the design authority, developer and manufacturer of the above listed PSE. As such, they (and an authorized Master Distributor) are the only source that can provide these required PSE items. This these specific PSE tools are designed for removal and installation of peculiar fasteners on the EA-18G AEA Suite. Any other sources would need to possess the drawings/technical data to be able to perform this requirement. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT POSSESS THE TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE/DRAWINGS TO ALLOW FOR A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT. All responsible sources may submit a response which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
