Unison Marketplace has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing quotes, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. NAWC-AD Lakehurst is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time quotes. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their quote using the online exchange located at www.UnisonMarketplace.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a quote on www.UnisonMarketplace.com. Offerers that are not currently registered to use www.UnisonMarketplace.com should proceed to www.UnisonMarketplace.com to complete their free registration. The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure the Sabritec Connector a/k/a Smiths Interconnect Connector, part number (P/N) 012617-3054 in support of the V-22 Osprey Aircraft Program. This effort is necessary for the manufacture of the Mission Computer Obsolescence Initiative (MCOI) Integrated Avionics Processor (IAP) Databus Network Tester (DBNT) Interface Adapter Cable Sets (IACS). This procurement will be a limited competition between authorized component distributors that can provide the part number. Sabritec (no CAGE) is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) located OCONUS and owns the proprietary rights to the Connector listed above. Smiths Interconnect is the authorized manufacturer loctated in CONUS. The Government does not own the technical data and the procurement of any other part number source would result in additional costs to the Government. The resultant contract will be competitively awarded, on a firm-fixed price basis, to the responsible business that can provide the Sabritec/Smiths Interconnect Connector at the lowest total cost to the Government. This is considered a commercial requirement. Specific information will be included in solicitation N68335-20-Q-0063 and will be issued and posted on the Unision Marketplace website at https://marketplace.unisonglobal.com/ via Buy Number 1011733 on or about 22 January 2020 and will close 06 Febuary 2020.
