The Naval Air Warfare Center – Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 41 USC 1901, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Rix Industries, for the procurement of Gas Generator Parts; Pressure Transmitter Assy Oil, P/N A138-B10348; Cylinder Assy 5 ½” Dia., P/N A1-B8297; Cylinder Assy, P/N A1-B8296; Packing box, P/N 119-C2369; and Piston and Rod Sub Assy, 5 ½ & 2 5/8 Dia., P/N A8-D3404, required to support the FRC. Rix is the original designer, developer and manufacturer of the support equipment identified above. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
