The purpose of this notice is to inform interested parties that the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends issue a Firm Fixed Price Contract to Dowty Propellers, 114 Powers Court, Sterling, VA 20166 for Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) for the KC-130J Program. Dowty Propellers are the sole manufacturer for the parts, and they do not have any approved authorized distributors for these parts. The period of performance anticipated for this effort will be 8 months. Dowty Propellers is the only known source capable of accomplishing this requirement in the required timeframe and without duplication of costs. Dowty Propellers owns the technical data. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
