THERE IS NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE. The Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst is requesting information pertaining to the procurement of the A/M24M-6, Landbased Mobile Electric Power Plant (LMEPP). The LMEPP is a self-contained, diesel driven, towable unit that is used at land based Navy and Marine Corps sites to provide 120KVA, 270VDC and 28VDC electric power to support general aircraft maintenance on all Navy and Marine aircraft to include EA-18G, F-35 and P-8A. The Government is requesting information on the availability of Part Number: C637, NSN: 6R-X-6115-01-600-0405-SX. Nominal requirements for the LMEPP are: 1. AC Power Supply: 120 KVA, 115/200 volts, 3 phase, 400 Hz 2. DC Power Supply: 28 VDC, 1,000 Amp and 270 VDC, 267 Amp 3. Dimension: 126 in x 68 in x 53 in 4. Dry Weight: 5,512 lbs 5. Operate continuously in temperature conditions ranging from -25 to 140 degrees F. 6. Withstand storage temperature conditions ranging from -65 to 165 degrees F. 7. Operate with exposure to a 5% sodium chloride solution at a fall out rate of 1.2 fluid ounces per hour per square foot of surface area. 8. Operate continuously in blowing rain consisting of four inches per hour rain fall with 40 mph winds. 9. Operate for one hour after exposure to blowing sand (150 to 850 micron particle size). Wind speed shall be 40 mph and the concentration shall be 2.2 ± 0.5 g/m3. 10. Operate for one hour after exposure to blowing dust particles (<149 microns). Wind speed shall be 20 mph and concentration shall be 0.3 +/-0.2 g/ft3. 11. EMI/EMV compatibility requirements of MIL-STD-461/464. 12. Capable of transport within C-5, C-17, C-130 and CH-53 aircraft. 13. Withstand jet vibration per Mil-Std-810. 14. SAE AS8090 Mobility The purpose of the request for information is to identify potential contractors capable of building this product. It is the Government's intent to procure up to a total of 550 LMEPPs from the original manufacturer of the LMEPP.
