Description: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure on a sole source basis services for the sustainment, repair and maintenance of the airborne Low Frequency System (ALFS) Reel Cable Tension Machine (RCTM), Part Number 5878-151 and the Cable Tension System (CTS), Part Number WF-001 in support of MH-60R Program. The anticipated award will be made to Reel Power Industrial (Cage Code: 79649). This acquisition is being pursued under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government does not own current data, technology, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
