Solicitation: N68335-19-R-0302 Agency/Office: Naval Air Systems Command Location: Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst Title: MV-22 OBSOLENSENCE PART REPLACEMENT/DEVELOPMENT OF INTERMEDIATE LEVEL TUBE BENDERS 4920 Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Shop Equipment NAICS - 333517 - Machine Tool Manufacturing The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, New Jersey, intends to issue a contract on a sole source basis to Boeing to buy a replacement for the touchscreen computer, PLC computer, upgrade Operating system to Windows 10 (with IT approval) and provide Qty 21 kits for MV to upgrade current Intermediate Level Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) P/N 110-49-446-51 in the fleet. A quantity of three (3) of the modified new part number for CMV. The Resultant Contract is anticipated to be a Fixed Priced type contract. Foreign military sales (FMS) are anticipated to be included in this contract. Boeing is the original system integrator for the Bender and Limited Data Rights of drawings and software are owned by the OEM, Boeing which prevents Full and Open Competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to full and open competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
