This is a sole source award for a fixed price contract for the procurement of modified Commerical-Off-The-Shelf Merlin-2 tactical battery charger/power manager kits to Iris Technology Corporation. The period of performance is anticipated to be 120 days. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
