The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to intends to enter into sole source negotiations to establish a five-year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for Repairable (ROR) support and spares for the support of H-1 Support Equipment, Boresight Adapter Set AH-1Z, P/N 3239AS1150-1; CTM Adapter Set, P/N 3239AS1210-1; Boresight Adapter H-1 Cockpit Mapping, P/N 3239AS260-1; ABE Model 310, P/N 40262-44000-40. The anticipated award will be made to AAI Corporation, located in Hunt Valley, Maryland. AAI Corporation is the only company that is capable of providing this support for these items as they hold the proprietary rights to the data necessary to provide the proper repairs, testing and calibration. NAVAIR intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
