The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ, intends to negotiate a Fixed Price, IDIQ contract on a non-competitive basis with WBH, Inc. Doing Business As (DBA) Midwest Aircraft Machine and Tool (MAMT), located in Plainfield, IN, for the purchase of Engine Engine Peculiar Support Equipment, Pin Rigging Compressor Variable Vane P/N 23066612, Adapter-Mounting Fwd/Aft Engine Handling P/N 23066613, Set, Remove/Install Accy Gearbox Seals P/N 23066614, Adater Yoke FWD, Engine Handling Mount P/N 23066618, and Adapter, Attaching, AFT Engine Handling Mount P/N 23066619 for the CV-22 Aircraft. the service tools are used to maintain and repair the Rolls Royce's commercially developed AE1107C engine. Rolls Royce is the designer, developer and integrator of the AE 1107C commercial engine and associated servcice tools used on the MV/CV-22 Aircraft. MAMTmeets the form, fit, function and aircraft quality requirements and has been evaluated and tested with the Depot. All technical data is proprietary to MAMT, the Government does not own the proprietary data. The Government intends to procure the above under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
