The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWC-AD LKE) anticipates the award of a fixed-price, option contract for the production and delivery of up to 14 each - T-45 Starter System Test Sets, that meets all the established requirements of the legacy Starter System Test Set, NIIN 01-440-8253, P/N: BT0472. The Starter System Test Set is an O-Level piece of support equipment used to perform functional checks of the T-45 Engine Starting System on aircraft. This system is needed to verify the combined functionality of the air producer, air starter, and starter control unit on wing and as first line equipment for failure detection. The legacy Starter System Test set- in use since 1978 - is now obsolete and can no longer be produced or supported. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business vendors. Interested SB vendors must be registered as "ACTIVE" in the System for Award Management (SAM) website to be considered for award of any DoD contract. The SAM website can be accessed at www.sam.gov The T-45 Starter System Test Set, shall be manufactured in accordance with the SOW. The applicable requirements documents will be made available upon release of the Request for Quote which will include the Solicitation and Statement of Work. The Request for Quote will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. Respondents to this RFI should provide the following: - Proof of distributorship - Technical and experience information on their ability to provide that meets the parts list above - Identification of business size, specifically, small business size status ( i.e. Small Business, Hubzone, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc.) -Rough Order of Magnitude pricing information.
