The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to award a fixed price modification under an existing contract with Telephonics Corporation (CAGE 64694) to incorporate additional scope in support of the HC-27J Multi-Mode Radar System Program. This procurement requirement is to incorporate additional Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and the following ancillary equipment: - Qty 3, Installation Kit, Part Number 737-2000-001 - Qty 3, Waveguide Dummy Load, Low Power, Part Number T5985-0075-001 - Qty 3, Pressure Switch Absolute, Part Number T5985-0061-001 THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not possess the necessary technical data to effectively solicit the development of the required supplies or services by full and open competition. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice must include the company name, CAGE code, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number, telecopy (fax) number, electronic mail (e-mail) address and company literature sufficient to determine the capability of this company to perform this effort.
