THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is seeking additional sources for these hose connectors in accordance with MIL-DTL-19246E, Connector, Oxygen Mask Hose, Type MC-3A for listing on Qualified Products List (QPL) 19246. MIL-DTL-19246E is available at ASSIST https://quicksearch.dla.mil/ and may be obtained by using the "Document Number" search box and entering 19246. This connector attaches the oxygen mask hose to the oxygen regulator hose. The oxygen mask and oxygen breathing equipment must be able to withstand an emergency bailout pressure of 1,800 psi and still provide oxygen flow through the connector. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. With respect to products requiring qualification, awards will be made only for products that are, at the time of award of contract, qualified for inclusion in QPL-19246 whether or not such products have actually been so listed by that date. Contractors should be aware of requirements specified in MIL-DTL-19246E. Manufacturers should arrange to have the products that they propose to offer to the Federal Government tested for qualification in order that they may be eligible to be awarded contracts or orders for the products covered by MIL-DTL-19246E. Guidance for manufacturers and their authorized distributors who wish to submit products for NAWCAD qualification is available from the Provisions Governing Qualification (SD-6).
