The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to solicit on a sole-source basis to The L.C. Doane Company for the acquisition of the Floodlight Assembly, P/N: 619403-10 Lakehurst NAVAIR intends to procure this Floodlight Assembly from L.C. Doane Company as they are the only CAI (Critical Application Item) approved vendor for this specific floodlight. NAVAIR Prototype and Manufacturing Division (PMD) supports any vendors willing and able to meet the requirement to be included in future procurements of this specific Floodlight Assembly. NAVAIR intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract. This notice of intent is for informational purposes only, and not a request for competitive proposals. However, if a party believes they can provide this support, they may submit a quote, along with a statement that demonstrates the vendor's technical ability to satisfy the stated requirements, prior to the closing of this announcement, which shall be considered by NAWC-AD LKE. The Government will not pay for any responses in regards to this notice.
