Description: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a fixed price contract, on a sole source basis, to ALTA dt Data Technologies LLC., MN for a (P/N ENET-MA4-2F8) ENET Appliance with Two Channels of Dual Redundant MIL-STD-1553 with full Full Function (BC/mRT and Mon) Capability and 4 Shared Tx/Rx Channels and 4 Rx Channels of ARINC-429 and 2 Rx/2 Tx ARINC-717 Selectable Channles (Each 717 Rx/Tx Replaces Two 429 Channels) and accesories. This item is required for maintenance support of FY19 NISE Intelligent Host Intrusion Detection and Prevention Agent. The Government intends to procure the above items under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The Government does not own the data rights and a competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. This notification is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
